In short: MINAMO runs entirely in your browser. It does not collect,
transmit, or sell any data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no servers.
What MINAMO accesses
To show and organize your open tabs, MINAMO uses Chrome's standard extension APIs:
Tabs & tab groups — to read the titles, URLs, and groups of your open tabs so it can display, move, group, and reorder them.
Storage — to remember your archived tabs, pinned tools, island notes, and view settings.
Side panel — to show MINAMO's interface beside your current page.
Where your data lives
Everything MINAMO saves (archived tabs, pinned tools, notes, settings) is stored
locally in your browser via Chrome's storage. It never leaves your device,
and it is not sent to us or any third party. Archived items are kept for 7 days and then
automatically removed.
What MINAMO does not do
No data is transmitted to any server.
No analytics, tracking, or advertising.
No accounts or sign-in.
No selling or sharing of any information.
Permissions justification
MINAMO requests only the minimum permissions needed for its single purpose — viewing
and organizing your tabs: tabs, tabGroups, storage,
and sidePanel. It requests no host permissions and cannot read page content.
